Below are answers to some common questions donors may have before making a donation on Give.com.sg.
Give.com.sg is an online crowdfunding platform that connects donors with charities and fundraising campaigns. We operate as a platform provider only. This means we do not run the charities or campaigns listed on our platform, and we do not control how donated funds are used.
No. Campaigns are created and managed by charities or campaign organisers. Give.com.sg does not manage or operate campaigns unless expressly stated.
You can make a one-time or recurring donation through our platform using:
- Stripe
- PayNow
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
Yes. Give.com.sg does not store your full payment card details. Payments are securely processed by trusted third-party payment providers in accordance with their own security standards.
Donations are generally non-refundable, except in limited situations. You may request a refund if:
- You made a donation by mistake
- There was a technical or processing error
- The transaction was unauthorised
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the donation by emailing support@give.com.sg with your transaction reference. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method. Processing fees may not be refundable.
In rare cases where a campaign is removed or funds cannot be disbursed within a reasonable time, Give.com.sg may:
- Temporarily hold the donation while investigating; or
- Redirect the donation to another suitable campaign or charity, where permitted by law.
Yes. You may cancel a recurring donation at any time through your account or by contacting us. Cancellation will take effect from the next billing cycle.
Donations are used by the charities or campaign organisers, who are responsible for applying the funds to their stated purpose.
Give.com.sg does not monitor or guarantee how donations are used. Donors are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before donating.
Tax deduction eligibility depends on the recipient charity and applicable regulations. Where applicable, donation receipts or tax records will be issued by the relevant charity.
We collect only the personal data necessary to process donations and operate the platform, such as:
- Name and contact details
- Donation and payment confirmation details

Yes, limited information (such as your name and donation amount) may be shared with the recipient charity for acknowledgment, compliance, and reporting purposes, unless you choose to donate anonymously where available.
